Groups and Events
Over the years, we have hosted school children, college students and senior groups – all are welcome to visit Pearson's Falls and Glen. We’ve even accommodated small weddings. To support our growing needs in this area, we’ve created a convenient bus turnaround and enhanced our parking area. With advance notice, every effort will be made to accommodate our guests.
Depending on your interests, we may be able to provide a docent to assist those groups who want to learn more about the flora, fauna, history, geology, or interesting projects that have been undertaken. For groups of 1-5, the fee is $25. Each additional person is $5. Admission fees also apply. A one week advance notice is helpful. Please contact us at pearsonsfallsinfo@gmail.com.
Reserving the Covered Picnic Shelter
Groups are welcome to reserve the Covered Picnic Shelter. We ask that you schedule it in advance and complete the Special Use Contract.
Weddings
Weddings at the Glen are welcome events. They can be arranged by contacting our staff at pearsonsfallsinfo@gmail.com or calling us at 828-749-3031. Our capacity is for no more than 50 guests. Weddings need to be planned between 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. If you plan to use the picnic shelter, please complete the Special Use Contract and submit it for approval prior to the event. A pre-booking visit is strongly encouraged.
Garden House
Local Garden Clubs and Horticultural Groups are invited for one courtesy access per year for a meeting in the Garden House and walk to the falls. Prior arrangement is required through the Pearson’s Falls staff. There is a limit of 40 guests for the Garden House.
Memorial Services
We are able to host Memorial Services outside of regular hours, contingent upon the discretion and availability of the Caretaker, who will inform the Pearson’s Falls Chairperson of such services in advance. Services must be held before 10:00 AM in the morning or after 6:00 PM in the evening. A fee of $20 per hour will be required, payable to the Tryon Garden Club, plus normal admittance fee for each person attending the service.

Specific Tryon Garden Club written Pearson’s Falls and Glen policies regarding Pets, Photography, Drones, Picnic Shelter use and Special Events (Weddings, Garden House Meetings and Memorial Services) are available upon request from the ticket booth attendant, either in person or by telephoning 828-749-3031.
