PHOTOGRAPHY
The TGC welcomes free publicity resulting from all photography.
However, though no charge will be made of commercial photographers beyond the normal entrance fee,
commercial photographers are required to make attribution to Pearson’s Falls and the Tryon Garden
Club.  A sign to this effect is located at the entrance booth stating:”  Commercial Photographers
Welcome.  Attribution to Pearson’s Falls and the Tryon Garden Club Required.  Contributions
appreciated.”

Videos and filming of Pearson’s Falls are permitted during regular open hours given 1) prior approval of
the Tryon Garden Club Board, 2) attribution to Pearson’s Falls and the Tryon Garden Club, and 3)

will be required to compensate the gatekeeper for their extra time.  Video taping and filming for non-profit
educational purposes are welcomed and must only meet the first two requirements during regular hours;
however, a gatekeeper’s fee will be charged for an after hours use.

Picnic Shelter Use

Garden House
Policies to Follow While Visiting
Local garden clubs have one courtesy access per year for meetings.  Prior arrangement
is required through the gatekeepers, who will inform the PF chairperson(s) of the
scheduled visits.  A limit of 40 garden club guests applies due to space limitations.  If a
garden club makes a courtesy donation to the TGC, $15.00 of any donation will be
reimbursed to the gatekeepers for Garden House preparation and clean-up.
Groups wishing to reserve the picnic shelter must do so in advance and will be charged
$25 in addition to the regular entrance fees.  This fee will be paid at the gate the day of
use and will be payable to the TGC and reimbursed to the gatekeepers.  The schedule
will be administered through the gatekeepers and during regular hours only.
