| Membership in the Tryon Garden Club The Tryon Garden Club was establish in 1928 by a group of women interested in the advancement of gardening, the development of home grounds, the furthering of city beautification, the stimulation of interest in cooperative gardening and the protection of wildflowers, birds and wildlife. For 75 years the Tryon Garden Club has been privileged to be the proud guardian of this magnificent natural wonder.
